Artisphere 2016 – Greenville, South Carolina

Established in 2005, Artisphere is the annual, signature arts and cultural event for Greenville, South Carolina.  Artisphere celebrates the arts as well as the rich international and multicultural flair of the region.  Featured work ranges from visual to performing to culinary art forms.  The exhibits include ‘Artists Row’, where various artists display and sell art pieces, several performance stages, and an ‘Art Demo Row’, with continuous demonstrations throughout the 3-day event.

The Artisphere’s stated goals include “…providing a high-quality event that attracts, entertains, educates, inspires and enriches a diverse audience and thus brings the community together through the arts”. The festival attracts tens of thousands of visitors and residents annually.  With the tagline of “Arts, Culture, Life”, this year’s edition was held May 13-15, 2016.  The following images give a small sampling of the sights of Artisphere 2016.
